DED can be used for continuous 24 hour/day monitoring of data flow from a CD player, DAT recorder or any other digital source. It will help you to intercept problems with both the equipment and the media (CDs, DATs, etc.). Is it not reassuring to know that there is no data loss leading to distortions?
